Roof Debris & Moss

Roof Debris & Moss Removal in Edmonton

Leaves piled in roof valleys and behind chimneys hold moisture against your shingles and refill your eavestroughs within weeks of a clean. We blow the roof clear, clear the valleys, and treat moss on shaded north slopes.

Edmonton · Sherwood Park · St. Albert — fully insured, photo report after every job

What's included

  • Roof surface blown clear of leaves, spruce needles, and seed pods — valleys, dormers, and behind chimneys included.

  • Debris cleared from behind roof vents and skylight curbs where water backs up.

  • Moss and organic growth on shaded slopes treated and brushed off without pressure washing the shingles.

  • Eavestroughs re-checked and flushed after the roof work so nothing we knock down stays in the trough.

  • Photo report of the roof surface, valleys, and any shingle damage we spot from the ladder.

Why it matters

Debris on the roof refills your troughs

Clean troughs under a debris-covered roof clog again with the first rain. Clearing the roof is what makes a cleaning last.

Trapped moisture shortens shingle life

Wet leaf mats in valleys hold moisture against asphalt shingles, accelerating granule loss and rot at the decking edge.

Moss lifts shingles

Moss roots swell under shingle edges and lift them. Removing it early is far cheaper than replacing a slope.

Valleys drive ice dams

A blocked valley pushes meltwater sideways under shingles — one of the most common Edmonton winter leak sources.

FAQs

Do you walk on the roof?

Only when the pitch and condition make it safe. Otherwise we work from the ladder line and use blowers to reach the upper surfaces.

Do you pressure wash roofs?

No. Pressure washing strips shingle granules. We use blowers, hand clearing, and a moss treatment instead.

Can this be added to a gutter cleaning?

Yes — it's the most common add-on. Book your cleaning and mention roof debris in the request and we'll quote it on site.

When should this be done?

Fall after leaf drop is ideal, paired with your eavestrough cleaning. Moss treatment is best in spring or early fall.
